Well this sure is going to put a damper on my propbuilding schedule for this year... I took an epic slam on the mountain bike 2 weeks ago and finally got to the doctor for an x-ray. Fractured middle finger (how appropriate!) with a bone chip before the first knuckle. Now I'm supposed to see a hand specialist for a consultation.
This can only mean that I will be laid up for a couple of weeks after some sort of surgery, right?
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed, but either way, this will force me to cut back on the prop list for this year. Something I'm not all too happy about at the moment. Damn...
No fair - you got a small splint! When I fractured mine (on the running lawn mower blade - go me!) I had a huge aluminum thing with tubes of gauze wrapped around it. Needless to say - it got modified really quickly. Either way it's a pain in the butt to function with it on. I never did go see the specialist, but mine wasn't as bad as yours. Get well soon!
A cold, weathered hand pierces the rust-laden earth of a late autumn night. Reanimated decay becomes the evening's guide. Masked faces bask in the fiery glow of a jack-o-lantern's illumination. A lifeless finger points the direction toward the next porch-lit house. For this is the night of ghouls and goblins and tricks and treats. This is the night of Hallowe'en...
