A SUNDAY UPDATE

So yesterday was a very busy day. I hope everyone enjoyed all the Misfits tracks! Unfortunately, rain and high winds moved through the area yesterday evening, knocking the power out to the whole neighborhood. Damn.

I had about 3 or 4 more Misfits songs to post. I was in the middle of working on my one big prop for this year's display. And I was going to kick back with some pumpkin beers and a couple of good horror films.

Oh well, unfortunately the party got cut short. Also, without power, I had no way to charge my camera battery. And with the rain and cold this morning, I have decided to skip today's installment of Cemetery Sundays.

I really need to get into the garage and finish this prop project. And with a full day of "regular life" things going on, time will be at a premium.

So I'm going to cut this one short and get down to business. I may have a post or two later today, but the regular madness will return tomorrow. I still have a ton of new posts in the can and a ton of work to do to get ready for the big night. Time keeps slipping away! It's going to be one hell of a week...

One Week To Go!

And so many little things left to do! Why is it that every year at this time my head is so close to spinning off!?!?

At least after all of these years, I have learned to ignore the ever-changing weather report until at least a week until the big night. And truth be told, I still get a few sneak peeks in before then. I can't help it!

So now I can start looking at the daily weather report and hope for the best each time I look. With a week left until the big night, we're looking pretty good. Although I'm going to call today's report "threading the needle"...

Still a bit too close on those rain chances, but I'll continue to keep my fingers crossed.
