Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection

Great news for fans of monster movies! Today, Universal Studios releases Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection. Eight Blu-Ray discs containing Universal's classic Monsters, all in restored high definition picture and sound.

Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931), The Mummy (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), The Wolf Man (1941), The Phantom of the Opera (1943) and Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), together in one collection, and quickly headed to my shelf.

Hoping their not priced too unreasonable. Looking forward to buying a set. Universal paid homage to the classics as a haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights called " House of Horrors" . It was all done in black and white including the scareactors as the classic monsters. Who would have thought it would be scary?! Think I pee'd a little...;)

Mark, the cheapest I found was Amazon at $111, which is steep, but I am apparently independently wealthy and put my order in. Because along side of being independently wealthy, I am a huge monster movie fan!

And I would love to check out Halloween Horror Nights. An all black and white haunt would be very interesting, especially if it made you pee a little :)
